If you submitted it into the contest, you did your share of well... sharing it
and participating. It just doesn't seem right or fair to vote on your own work.
It is just my opinion, but another contest that I had joined in had really good
and fair rules with the voting system and suggested for no votes on own wall
too.

1.) onestepclosertonumb--"Welcome Back"--Very hard to make walls at
that perspective and because the scan is at that perspective, it is also very
hard to find walls like that. Good effort and emotion for Valentines.
2.) AngelKate's Entry #2--"Sweet Summer Days"--has such a cute
cartoonish feel and cheerful backdrop with summery colors. And cute couple
^^
3.) Hanazaki--"Sweet O'Valentine"--Even my friend who saw the wall
screamed out CUTE! LOL It is the Perfect Valentine postcard, gift
card...anything. Cute with the Valentine colorful backdrop and scan with makes
me want to party on Valentine.
I don't think I can do this one, Pham. I am already in one contest and trying to
do that wall also for my monthly theme. I have to get it done this week. Maybe
though...
There is nothing wrong with your tree. It is what we call a silhouette and it is
a pretty brush. Problem is with doing a silhouette, they have to be in the far
back. And so with that green bush behind it, it takes away from the silhouette
effect. Everything at that level of depthness of the wall should be black. So
put that green bush in front of the tree. Since silhouettes should be towards
the back to show depthness, the tree should be smaller in size and a little
blurry.
I have not seen that type of grass brush before. Are you using photoshop 7.0?
There is a better grass brush. To add additional colors, play around with the
color dyanmics of the brush.
Like the sky! Nice clouds! Overall, very nice for your first try ^^

I love challenges and this sounds like fun! And I view this as a learning
experience too...sadly, I just don't have the time. My schedule is booked with
my teaching job and with a college paper. As it is, I barely get sleep during
the 5 day-job week. Sorry. I can do this in the summer and maybe next year ^_^

I would vote for Welcome Home since it shows a lot of effort esp. with the
making of the water. It is well put together and very harmonious with
itself...if that even makes sense >^_^<
I ask this because a very great feature in MT2 is now not here in MT3 which was
the displaying of the favs you chose in the upper right corner (at least the
recent three). I loved this feature since when I browse MT and talk to my
friends, I see what beautiful walls I could have missed and I get curious as to
why that person faved it. Essentially, it was a way of 'advertising' walls and
helps so many of us to see walls that we missed during our times that we can't
be online.
Now that feature is gone here in MT3, we are dependent on those who get our
notifications that we submitted a wall. Therefore, majority of comments and
views and favs will be from your friends. I know there will be some browsing the
recent submissions, but many people submit wallpapers and a wall is pushed down
to page 40 within the hours.
Does it seem then that MT3 is leaning more towards the friendslists regardless
of the special "highlighted" walls section even though it was designed
to try to prevent that as much as possible?
1.) I have no clue on how to add friends except through that annoying page.
Sometimes it is hard to remember the spelling of the person's name, so I have to
go back and copy and paste and then I am not sure myself if I added them or not.
I see the same thing to on their userpage.
2.) I still have no clue what is the difference between watch, hot or
friend.
3.) I am good with faces not with names (esp. weird ones). And an avatar
represents you. Now it is hard to see who is who.
4.) I didn't even know about that with the fav system. I still can't figure out
how to fav yet But anyway, that is a shame. I can't rightly thank people for
faving my walls.
5.) The level system has helped me a lot in determining if the wall was ripped
or not. If it was a low level person but a great wall it warns me.
6.) And as for the credit system--I now have to waste credits to download scans
to see if they are a good quality for the myself to use for walls. And to gain
credits I am forced to comment on others work (which means it won't be an honest
from heart comment) and submit walls as if I am "selling" my work to
get "money" to enjoy this site. It is so....dirty....
Anyway, this might close to being considered complaints, pham *hugs*

I usually buy food at my job, but a lot of their food is so unhealthy. It is
also cheaper to bring from home. So I am going to get more in the habit of

There is nothing wrong with your tree. It is what we call a silhouette and it is a pretty brush. Problem is with doing a silhouette, they have to be in the far back.
